Hours & the slice
SLICE runs twenty-six stations and sells time in thirty-minute slices. We open Monday to Thursday from 10:00 to 01:00, Friday and Saturday from 10:00 to 03:00, and Sunday from 11:00 to midnight. A slice is thirty minutes at any open station; slices you buy keep for seven days, so an unused order carries over to your next visit within that week.
Bookings
A booking holds your chosen seat type — Counter, Booth or Duo — for five minutes past your start time. Arrive within that window and the seat is yours. Miss it and the slice returns to the floor for the next walk-in, though any slices already on your order stay valid for their seven days. On a quiet afternoon we will happily seat you at a specific station; on a full night we hold the type and place you at the first one open.
Conduct on the floor
Keep it easy for the people around you. Voices down where the booths are, headsets on for anything loud, and no saving seats you are not using. Food and drink stay in the lounge corner, not at the stations, so keyboards stay clean for the next player. We ask everyone to treat staff and fellow visitors with plain courtesy; anyone who cannot will be asked to step out, with unused slices refunded to their order.
Equipment
Every station carries the same kit: a 27-inch 240Hz screen, current-generation graphics, wired peripherals and a full-tilt chair. Please do not unplug, swap, or open any hardware — if something is not behaving, wave down the counter and we will sort it or move you to another seat. You are responsible for damage caused on purpose or through obvious carelessness, but ordinary wear is simply part of running a club.
Your account of time
Slices are a measure of play, nothing more. They hold no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not a stake of any kind. Running a minute or two over to finish a match draws one slice from your order — no stopwatch drama. This is a place to play and to sit with friends, and we mean to keep it that way.
Changes
We may adjust these rules as the club grows. The current version always lives here, with the date at the top. Booking a slice or sitting down at a station means you are happy to play by them.
